Media officer of the Super Eagles Toyin Ibitoye has revealed that the games were fixed on weekdays for television purposes.

The first leg will kick off at 7 pm Nigerian time in Uyo which the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have stuck to as the home of the Super Eagles.

The choice of Uyo as the home of the Super Eagles was heavily criticised following their 2-0 loss to South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

The NFF have however reiterated that the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium will remain the home of the Super Eagles.
