Paris Saint-Germain star wants club to sell Cavani after bust-up
Neymar has asked Paris Saint-Germain owner to sell Cavani after his fallout with the striker over set piece duties.
The duo argued over who to take a freekick earlier in the game before Dani Alves stepped in to collect the ball from Cavani before handing it over to his compatriot Neymar.
Neymar and Cavani also argued over who to take a penalty which the Uruguayan striker took and missed.
After the game, it was reported that the two players nearly came to blows and were only separated by their teammates.
According to Spanish publication , the Brazilian has demanded that Paris Saint-Germain offload Cavani to fully exert him as the main man.
“Neymar has already communicated tothat his coexistence with Cavani is totally impossible and he has asked for the transfer of the Uruguayan striker,” Sport wrote in a report.
The decision is now left for Paris Saint-Germain as reports from England suggest that Chelsea and Everton are already monitoring the striker’s situation at the French club.
