So Mikel was in action for Tianjin TEDA in a Chinese Super League game against Guangzhou R&F with his partner Olga Diyachenko and twin daughters Ava and Mia watching at home.
One of the twins, however, was very concerned when he fell after he was fouled during the game.
In a video on his Instagram page, the kiddie is seen standing on the couch and being worried after a foul on her dad.
“He fall down, I need ice, let me call him,” she says before she rushed to the phone. She picks up the phone and said "Dad it’s okay, I will be right back,”
“Mimi you have a heart of gold my angel Daddy will always get back up my love,” Mikelwrote alongside a video of the cute moment on his Instagram.
He later shared a family photo of himself with his partner and the twin daughter.
Mikel and Olga welcomed the twins in September 2015.
