The Godwin Enakhena led management board of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side have been dissolved, Pulse Sports have learnt.  

A 1-0 win over FC IfeanyiUbah on the last day of the 2016 season saw MFM finish 16th to avoid dropping to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Ahead of next season in the NPFL, the club is without a management board.

Pulse Sports learnt that several applications have been submitted from which a new Chairman and board will be appointed.

The first job of the new chairman will be to find a new coach after the resignation of Fidelis Ilechukwu after the last game of the 2016 season.

Ilechukwu who has been with MFM FC for 10 years, parted ways with the club on Monday, October 3.
