Manchester United forward Memphis Depay has revealed his excitement with his shirt being the third highest selling jersey in world football.

Sky Sports and monitored the shirt sales of players from 1st July to September 30th 2015 in a bid to see which players are most popular when it comes to shirt sales.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s shirt at the highest selling shirts with Depay as third.

The forward has admitted that he is 'extremely humbled' by the news his shirt is the third best-selling in the world.

“Extremely humbled by the fact that my jersey is the #3 best selling in the world,” Depay wrote on Instagram with a photo of himself signing one of his Manchester United No 7 shirts.

“Going to do something special for all my wonderful fans out there. Stay tuned!”

Depay’s brand has grown since his £25million move from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2015.
