Reports have it that Chelsea signed a deal worth £3.5million with New York Red Bulls for the defender on Wednesday night
Chelsea have beaten other Premier League rivals to secure the signing of young defender Matt Miazga from New York Red Bulls.
The defender has been watched by the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City but Chelsea have swooped in to capture the highly rated defender.
Scouts from Premier League clubs have been watching the 20-year-old who has been labeled the ‘best defender in the Major League Soccer'.
Daily Mail reports that Chelsea signed a deal worth £3.5million with New York Red Bulls on Wednesday night.
The deal is to be announced by the MLS before the end of the week.
Born in America with Polish descent, Miazga recently made his debut for the US senior team following a tug-of-war with Poland for his services.
He played for both American and Polish junior teams.
