Merseyside Police open inquiry into racist abuses meted out to Liverpool forward, Mario Balotelli on social networking site, Twitter

Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli received racial attacks after his Man Utd taunt after the club lost to 5-3 to Leicester City at the King Power stadium on Sunday

Balotelli whose side also lost 1-3 to West Ham on Saturday tweeted and that was followed by a series of attacks, one of which used the words ‘Monkey and Ebola’ on the player.
