Before his arrest, Kwiotek had reacted to PSV Oberhausen’s heavy defeat, telling pressmen that the result was hard to take.

The result of the last match was hard to take. I don’t want to see that happen again,” the goalkeeper said while arriving for training ahead of their next game against Batenbrocker Ruhrpott Kicker III.

The club says they have been receiving several messages of support for the arrested goalkeeper on their Facebook page.

I don’t know what is going on with the police,” Vonderort’s trainer Yvonne Liesenfeld is quoted to say by the UK Sun.

First he lets in 43 goals and then he gets taken away by the law.”
