Reports in European media speculate that Cristiano Ronaldo is demanding a staggering £500,000 for him to return to the club after his heart

Over the weeks, Ronaldo has hinted on a possible return to Manchester United which he left in 2009 for £80m

German newspaper Bild reported that the 29 year-old Portugal international made such a huge demand where Man Utd have already proposed a £300,000 weekly wage for him to join them in January on a £60m transfer deal

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola taunted Manchester United as been incapable of paying any of his star players and so none of them were willing to join Louis Van Gaal and his team this summer

It can be recalled United made requests for Bastian Schweinsteiger, Arjen Robben and Thomas Muller and Toni Kroos, who later moved on to Real Madrid

"They don't have enough money.

"I saw they spent this kind of money (£151.3m on six players including Angel Di Maria)

"It's good for my friend Louis. I know all the players the clubs want, it just depends on the player.

"If the player wants to stay, they stay. Manchester United wants these kind of players, but they want to stay and we are happy to be here," Pep said about United

One Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claims that Ronaldo would leave, however, the time is not known, even as he admits that ’everything is in place’

''When will that be? It depends, of course, on a lot of things. It depends on Real Madrid and on Cristiano himself.

''I have a pretty good idea of when he wants to go. It won’t be this month or next month, but he wants to go back to Manchester United and everything is in place for him to return to Old Trafford.''

Ronaldo on Tuesday night gave Real Madrid fans something to cheer about after their poor start to the Spanish season

The Galacticos beat visiting Basel 5-1 with Ronaldo slotting in the 3rd.
