Louis Van Gaal doesn't care if Radamel Falcao is frustrated
Van Gaal only hopes to Falcao for 20 minutes against Southampton and does not care if the striker is frustrated
Van Gaal will clash with Koeman again after the pair worked together at Barcelona and Ajax; a relationship that is marred by unfriendliness and disagreement.
Again, Van Gaal proved why he is the ‘pompous a*s’ Ibrahimovic described him as when he said that he is not interested in whether Radamel Falcao is frustrated over a lack of progress and fitness, stating the striker should just follow his "philosophy".
Falcao has not been impressive since his loan move from Monaco to Old Trafford in the summer, making just 7 appearances in the season and scoring one goal while playing second fiddle to the frontline attack; a situation worsened by a lingering knee injury.
"I am not interested in that. He has to follow my philosophy - do you understand that? I am here because of that.’’
It is unclear if Falcao will play against Southampton on Monday night but the 63 year-old thinks the Colombian international can only play 20 minutes.
"I have selected him in spite of the fact he can only play for 20 minutes because the rhythm of the game in the Premier League is the highest."
