Manchester United boss promises a better 2015

Van Gaal's poised to extend United's unbeaten run to ten when they face Stoke on New Year's day

United fans shoule be looking at a new year where the club could return to the Champions League and possibly win the EPL if the words of Louis Van Gaal are anything to go by.

The Dutchman came into the club when it was going through more lows than highs and has in less than eight months transformed the club from dust biters to title contenders.

“We shall  be better in 2015. Just watch,” the 63 year-old said. Adding: “I think the players understand the philosophy, and that’s why we are improving – but we can improve more when we have all the players available to us. We can see 2015 with open eyes.”

Van Gaal’s first assignment of 2015 is to stretch United’s unbeaten run to 10 games at Stoke on New Year’s Day.
