Kelechi Nwakali Midfielder signs N4.9M per-week deal at Arsenal

The 18-year-old will later on Wednesday, August 3 put pen to paper on a five year deal which will be announced by the club.

Nigeria youth international, Kelechi Nwakali is set to sign a five-year deal worth a weekly pay of N4.9m (£10,000) at Arsenal.

Nwakwali was the captain of the Golden Eaglets team that won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile where he was hugely impressive.

His impressive performance earned him a move to Arsenal and he has been in negotiation with the North London side.

Pulse Sports learnt that the current Nigerian U-20 international concluded his medicals on Tuesday, August 2 ahead of his signing for Arsenal.

 

The 18-year-old will later on Wednesday, August 3 put pen to paper on a five year deal which will be announced by the club.

Nwakali flew to London in the company of his elder brother, Allwell Nwakali to conclude the deal.

The midfielder is expected to go straight into Arsenal’s youth side.
