Super Eagles striker scores 1st Premier League goal since move to Leicester

Kelechi Iheanacho was among the goals as Leicester City beat West Bromwich Albion

Kelechi who is now Nigeria's record goal scorer in the (FA Cup), had not yet found the back of the net in the Premier League since he moved from Manchester City.

The Nigerian was on the bench for the match, while compatriot Wilfred Ndidi as Leicester had to come from a goal down to win.

Iheanacho was introduced in the 60th minute in place of Shinji Okazaki and almost immediately provided an assist for Riyad Mahrez to put the Foxes in front.

Kelechi made sure of the three points in the 76th minute when he converted Ben Chilwell's cross, before Vincete Iborra completed the scoring.

The 21-year-old will hope to continue his goal scoring exploits with Leicester City when they host Chelsea in the FA Cup round of 16 next weekend.
