Liverpool forward, Jordan Ibe has snubbed Nigeria, choosing to play for his country of birth, England.

Ibe chose England despite Oliseh's attempt to convince him to don the colours of his father's country
Coach of the Super Eagles , Sunday Oliseh took to his Twitter account on Sunday, September 13 to reveal that Ibe has decided to play for his country of birth, England.
"Jordon Ibe's Family Informed me by a Telephone call, that He was giving priority to an England call up. We wish them well," Sunday Oliseh tweeted.
Ibe chose England despite Oliseh's attempt to convince him to don the colours of hid father's country.
Oliseh met with the 19-year-old in a bid to convince him to chose Nigeria over England.
Ibe who grew up in London has already represented England at Under-18, U19 and U20s level and has attracted attention from senior coach Roy Hodgson.
Oliseh, accompanied by his assistant Jean François Losciuto met with the forward at Melwood (Liverpool training ground) in August to discuss his international future and convince him to switch his alliance to Nigeria.
Ibe's father and Liverpool officials were present at the meeting.
