As a free agent, reports the 34-year-old got a hefty sign-on fee which is comparable to what other players get in Europe.
Sources close to the forward revealed that the sign-on fee was the main reason he agreed a move back to Ismaily.
He enjoyed a successful period with Ismaily winning the Egypt Cup and emerging as league top scorer when he played for them.
The 34-year-old last played for Sivasspor in Turkey.
