According to , Joel is expected to be on Gernot Rohr’s list for the upcoming friendly matches against Serbia and Poland in March.
Joel invitation will come four years after his last call up to the national team, as his last game for the Super Eagles came in a friendly game in 2014 against Scotland.
The left footed midfielder was in action from the start for his club side in a Serie A fixture against defending champions Juventus which they lost 0 – 1.

Nigeria will take on Poland in Wroclaw on March 23, and face Serbia in England on March 27.
