Ex-Super Eagles captain joins Zidane, Ronaldo for charity match

The ex-Super Eagles captain was among the slew of footballing greats legends that took part in the 12th annual Match against Poverty


Ex-Super Eagles captain Austin Jay Jay Okocha took part in the 12th annual Match Against Poverty organised by French football great, Zinedine Zidane.

This year's cause was to raise funds to fight the Ebola Virus and other football greats played in the game that took place yesterday, Monday, April 20 at Saint-Etienne Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.

Alongside Jay Jay Okocha, Footballing legends like Ronaldo, Clarence Seedorf, Fabian Barthez and Gianluca Zambrotta were also present.

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba who was supposed to attend the game .

Ronalod rolled back the years as he netted a hat trick in the game.

Seedorf and David Trezeguet also played and scored in the match.

Gabon and Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also scored a hat-trick as his side lost 9-7.
