The bickering over the renewal of Stephen Keshi seems to have come to an end, though not with the adjustments demanded by the coach.

Negotiation between Keshi's negotiating team and the NFF
52 year-old Stephen Keshi is offered a new contract with the same monthly salary he earned in the previous contract he had with the Nigeria Football Federation.
His new deal expands till four years on a monthly pay of 5 million Naira which amounts to 240 Million Naira throughout his new stay with the Super Eagles.
An NFF Executive Committee member Emeka Inyama said he expects the deal to be finalised by the end of the week.

After his resignation from the national team, Keshi demanded an improved contract of 10 Million Naira, an official house and car before considering a return to the National team
A request the NFF countered with a 7 Million Naira proposition
Keshi's negotiating team believe that the two time Nations Cup winner, former Togo and Mali coach would not settle for the 5 Million Naira deal.
