Garba who was recently appointed Technical Adviser of the club believes he can lead the Desert.

“Working with Gombe United is a new challenge for me and I hope to make the team a strong force in the league,” the former Golden Eaglets coach told Complete Sports.

“The NPFL is a competitive league and we hope to compete well against the top teams.

“The challenge will be enormous but we hope to make it a successful one.”

Gombe United got relegated on the last day of the 2014 NPFL season to the NNL for the first time in 20 years.
