While Rohr has invited South Africa-based Daniel Akpeyi, the German has urged other goalkeepers to fight for a shirt.
“Akpeyi would not get automatic shirt for the Algeria tie. He would fight for a place with the other two goalkeepers in the team,” Rohr said through the Media Officer of the Super Eagles.
Nigeria will host Algeria in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Saturday, November 12.
Nigeria lead the group with three points, Algeria and Cameroon joint-second with a point each while Zambia are bottom with zero points.
The winner of the group automatically qualifies for the 2018 FIFA World Cup holding in Russia.
