Forward’s new Real Marid deal worth £600,000 per week

The 27-year-old was presented at a press conference at the Santiago Bernabeu on Monday, October 31.

Gareth Bale joined Real Madrid for a then-world record fee of just over 100 million euros from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013

Bale joined Real Madrid from English club Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2013 and has won the Champions League twice.

This new contract puts to an end to any transfers rumours amidst interest from Manchester United and also makes him the highest paid player at the club above Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid’s faith in the 27-year-old shows how important he is to the club as they intend to rebuild the team around him.

At 31, Ronaldo’s influence on the pitch is expected to wane as he nears the end of his career.

Real Madrid are however expected to extend the contract of Ronaldo which is expected to run until he retires from the game of football.
