The FIFPro team announced the women's team of the year on Thursday, March 8 to celebrate International Women's day.

FIFPro have revealed the best eleven players in women's football
women's day.
A total of 55 professional women footballers were nominated, which involved five goalkeepers, 20 defenders, 15 midfielders and 15 forwards.
Out of the nominated players, over 4100 professional women footballers voted to selected their favourite eleven players.
Nominees
Goalkeeper
Hedvig Lindahl of Sweden was voted as the best goalkeeper among the five nominated shot stoppers.
Lindahl also plays for English outfit Chelsea.
Defenders
Lucia Bronze of England, Nilla Fischer of Sweden, Wendie Renard of France and Spain's Irene Paredes were selected as defenders.
Midfielders
Five time women's footballer of the year Marta Vieira da Silva of Brazil, Camile Abily of France and Dzsenifer Marozsán of Hungary were selected as the midfielders.
Forwards
Alex Morgan of the United States, Pernille Harder of Denmark and reigning Women's Player of the year Lieke Martens of Netherlands were selected in the forward positions.
