Alex Ferguson confesses to Jurgen Klopp that Man United failed to manage Shinji Kagawa well
Sir Alex Fergie has made a very big confession, one which would come as a respite for former Manchester United reject, Shinji Kagawa
Kagawa left Man Utd as a hopeful prospect who had come to England, the bay of football
However, it did not turn out right for him as he expected, Kagawa ended his two years Utd spell with a disastrous record of six goals in 38 games, most of which he started from the bench
Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp disclosed that Alex Ferguson told told him that he was sorry they failed to utilise the Japanese international
''Shame we [United] didn’t manage this well so that it worked out for him [Kagawa]. We were satisfied in the first year.
''In the second year you usually make the next step but he didn’t manage to do it.
''We should have made it work.''
Kagawa returned to Dortmund after Louis Van Gaal considered him surplus to requirement and already, the 25 year-old has scored in his second return debut with the German club.
