According to Sahara Reports, this development caused chaos among the Enyimba players as the fled for safety.
Calm was however immediately restored after more security men arrived and some of the unruly fans were escorted out of the Stadium.
Enyimba claim that their opponents, Etoile have done everything possible to make them uncomfortable ahead of the second leg.
On their official Twitter account on Tuesday, Enyimba claimed that their team bus was pulled off at the last minute and the players were forced to use taxis.
