Enyimba FC of Aba have won the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) with a game to spare.

The goalless draw with Warri Wolves meant that the Aba Warriors are now the winners of this season’s NPFL.

Despite knowing that they could win the league with just a point, The Peoples Elephant started the brighter side, attacking in numbers in search of a goal.

They created the better of the early exchanges but failed to put away any of the early chances at the Enyimba International Stadium.

Daniel Etor was sent off for an off-the-ball foul on on-form Wolves striker Gbolahan Salami in the second half but Enyimba held on for the much needed point to win their seventh league title.
