Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month for January.

The Spanish shot-stopper is rivalled by Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and West Ham United's Jarrod Bowen for the top prize.

Other players in contention include Southampton's James Ward-Prowse, Leeds United's Jack Harrison, and Wolverhampton Wanderers Joao Moutinho.

De Gea kept only one clean sheet in the league in January, a 1-0 victory over West Ham on January 22 at Old Trafford.

Kevin de Bruyne scored only one goal and made one assist in three league matches during January.
