Niger Tornadoes midfielder says playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League has been wonderful and exciting.
Joseph spoke after Tornadoes defeated Plateau United by a lone goal in Matchday 21 of the NPFL held at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, Wednesday, June 8.
He said that playing in the NPFL has been wonderful and exciting, adding that he will continue to train harder and abide by the instructions of the coaches because they inspired him to get the confidence he is exhibiting today.
“It is a wonderful experience playing along senior players, I know am not satisfied with myself I will continue to push harder to be there”, he added.
He said that the match was a difficult one for them because more than half of the players in the team were observing the Ramadan fast.
“Before we entered the field of play our Muslim brothers told us that we have double our efforts to assist them, we had no option so we did our best for the club”, he said.
According to the youngster who was instrumental to Tornadoes Feeder side getting to the quarter finals of the Federation Cup last year, the team has been solid in their adopted home of Confluence Stadium, Lokoja and will ensure to keep her 100 per cent record in the league.
Drafted to the main side for the 2015/2016 NPFL campaign, Joseph said the main aim of the club now is to gain points on the road so as to be among contenders to be in the summit of the league log.
