Mundo Deportivo reports that the Real Madrid star will win the 2016 Ballon d’Or just a week before the announcement.
Ronaldo leads the Ballon d'Or shortlist of 30 players including players like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann.
Almost a week away from the day the winner will be announced, Mundo Deportivo reports that the Real Madrid star will win the 2016 Ballon d’Or.

According to the report, the announcement will be made at 7pm next Monday (8pm, CET) which will be followed by an exclusive interview of Ronaldo by France Football, organisers of the Ballon d’Or.
The interview will be conducted on Thursday, December 8 when a photoshoot will also be held with Ronaldo and the Ballon d’Or trophy.
The 31-year-old forward had a phenomenal year winning two European titles, one with Real Madrid, the other with his country Portugal.
Ronaldo’s Real Madrid won the 2016 Champions League title beat Atletico Madrid and it was the forward who score the decisive final penalty in the shoot-out.
He was also captain of the Portugal national side that won Euro 2016 beating host France in the final.
This will be Ronaldo’s fourth Ballon d’Or, one less than Messi.
