Despite contrary reports, Chisom Chikatara has says he has joined signed for Wydad Casablanca
Super Eagles striker Chisom Chikatara is still denying that he has signed for Moroccan side, Wydad Casablanca.
It was reported that the Abia Warriors star had agreed a move to the club before the start of the African Nations Championship where he scored four goals including a hattrick in Nigeria’s 4-1 win in their first group game.
After interest from other bigger clubs in Europe, Chikatara was said to have pulled out of the move which prompted the club to threaten to drag the matter to FIFA before a deal was finally agreed by both parties.
Chikatara is however still insisting that he has signed with the club.
"I have heard everything about my move to Wydad Casablanca, but I'm yet to make up my mind on the move," Chikatara told Complete Sports.
"I want to go home now, rest and look at all the options available to me.
"I'm just getting over our shocking exit from the African Nations Championship and I will sort out my future soon."
