Chapecoense goalkeeper Jackson Follmann who lost his leg in the fatal plane crash in November 2016 is targeting a return to football to play in the Paralympics.

Follmann was one of the six people to survive when a plane carrying Chapecoense team crashed in Colombia in November 2016.

19 Chapecoense players and their manager Luis Saroli died in the crash which happened on their way for the Copa Sademerica final against Atletico Nacional.

Follmann had his right leg amputated at the knee due to injuries he sustained from the crash.

He now has a prosthetic leg fitted and has started to walk again.

The 24-year-old says he's is very determined to return to playing football in the Paralympics.

Despite being with a prosthetic leg, Follmann wants to continue playing football and wants to compete in the Paralympics.

He is trying very hard to getting back to his normal life and plans to get wed his girlfriend, Andressa Perkovski.

I'm going to get married, I want to get back to a normal life,” the goalkeeper said.
