After taking a slim 2-1 lead to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Warri Wolves defeated FCMK to progress to the third round


Warri Wolves FC have progressed to the third round of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 1-0 away win against FCMK of Democratic Republic of Congo.

Nigeria’s only remaining team in any continental club competition took a slim 2-1 lead to DRC but had to grind out a lone goal victory on Friday, May 1 to qualify for the third round of the competition on 3-1 aggregate.

Etebo Oghenekaro struck a 65th minute goal oto hand victory to Warri Wolves.
