Elections into the Nigeria Footbal Federation (NFF) got underway in Wari on Tuesday with the aspirants present at the venue

Also, other reports have it that the Electoral Committee chairman has been whisked away by men of the State Security Service (SSS)
Another report has it that the elections may not hold, probably because of the Electoral Committee chairman being held by men of SSS
After the arrest of the Electoral Committee chairman and the reported bribery claim, elections into the board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) continued into the day with Amaju Pinnick emerging the winner in the presidential race involving other 5 candidates
Amaju won in the second round polling 32 votes against ex –international and former Board Member Dominic Iorfa’s 8, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi polled 4 votes.
Amaju would later go on to win in the second round run-off with a flooring result,
