Manchester United swoop for Ghanaian youth star

Bernad Mensah has caught the eye of several clubs with his superb performances for Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes so far this season.

 

Manchester United are said to be ready to swoop for Ghana youth star Bernard Mensah.

According to reports, the club have sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old and have indicated interest i the star.

 Inter Milan and Valencia are also among the slew of clubs that are interesting in sing the young Ghanaian.

"I keep hearing about these links, but i have beein saying my focus is to play well and help Guimaraes into the EUROPA league," Mensah told Allsports.com.gh.

"It motivates me to hear the reports about the big clubs showing interest in me but for now i belong to Guimaraes."

Last season, Mensah fired the Victorionos B-team back to the Segunda Liga, with nine goals in 26 appearances.

He continued his impressive play after being promoted to the senior team and has scored four goals in 23 appearances this season.
