Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski could be on his way out of the Allianz Arena as club and player have not entered talks over a new deal for the player.

Bayern Munich and Robert Lewandowski have not entered contract extension talks despite Lewandowski's contract expiring in June 2023
The 33-year-old forward who has only 18 months left on his current contract is said to prefer to stay with the German champions.
Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano gave the latest update on Lewandowski's future on his personal Twitter account as rumours continue to swirl concerning the Polish captain's future.
Lewandowski's future is 'absolutely open' - Romano
Romano tweeted: “Robert Lewandowski's future situation is absolutely open.
“He's focused on second part of the season with Bayern - but his current contract expires in 2023 and he wants a new deal to stay.
“There are still no talks between Bayern and his agent - Lewandowski's waiting.”
Lewandowski has courted interest from many European top clubs including Real Madrid and Chelsea who have shown readiness to sign the former Borussia Dortmund striker in the past.
Lewandowski maintains his status as one of the deadliest players on the planet, having already scored 39 goals in only 33 appearances for Bayern Munich this season.
