Barcelona recorded a 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League

Barcelona had to come from a goal down to record a 1-1 draw against recorded a 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt in an Europa League fixture played on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

The first half was tightly contested as both sides struggled to find the back of the net at the halftime break.

De Jong combined with Ferran Torres to equalize for Barcelona in the 66th minute.

Brazilian defender Tuta received his second yellow card of the game in the 78th minute as Frankfurt played the rest of the game with 10-men.

Barcelona created some chances late in the game but could not convert as Frankfurt held on for a draw.

After the game, Barcelona fans expressed confidence that they would knock out Frankfurt when they play at the return leg at the Camp Nou next week.
