Top three teams in the AYC represent Africa in the 2015 World Youth Championship slated for New Zealand
Garba Manu and his boys will face a still competition against the hosts, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Congo in Group A at next year’s Africa Youth Championship which holds from March 8 to 22.
The six times champions finished in third place last year in Algeria.
The AYC has eight teams in two groups who battle for the top three slots which decides qualification to the FIFA World Youth Championship, New Zealand 2015.
Group B has Ghana, Mali, Zambia and South Africa.
The Flying Eagles ended the year 2014 with a thrilling 10-0 win over NNL side, Highlanders last week.
Draws for the Under 17 African Youth Championship were also held the same day, Sunday with Nigeria's Golden Eaglets finding themselves in Group A where they are to face Niger, Guinea and Zambia.
Group B has current holders, Ivory Coast pitted against South Africa, Mali and Cameroon.
