Super Falcons striker speaks at FIFA conference

The conference held at the Zurich, headquarters of FIFA and was titled 'Equality Through Reform'. The conference also coincides with the annual celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8.

The conference is parts of FIFA’s commitment to promote, develop and invest in women’s football so that the sport and those who play it can grow to their full potential across the world.

The conference as expected, brought together diverse voices from sport and wider society to discuss ways in which women’s football and women in football can be further promoted.

Other speakers that spoke at the conference include tennis icon and founder of Women’s Sport Foundation Billie Jean King, former USA women’s football player Abby Wambach, Samar Nassar, Chief Executive Director of the Local Organizing Committee for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016.

Director of BBC Sport, Barbara Slater, General Secretary of the French Football Association, Brigitte Henriques, and Director of Strategic Partnerships at UN Women and the FIFA Executive Committee representatives, Kristin Hetle were also listed as speakers.
