Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month after guiding his team to a run of four wins in October.

Arsenal beat Manchester United, Watford, Everton and Swansea City in October which keep them in joint top of the English Premier League with Manchester City.

Arsenal scored 11 goals in October giving Wenger his 15th Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award.

The 66-year-old French man beat off competition from Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini and Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri.

Wenger is now the Premier League's second-most successful manager of all-time when it comes to the monthly awards.

Only Sir Alex Ferguson's with 27 wins has won more than Wenger.

Arsenal’s winning streak has been halted by Tottenham who held the Gunners to a 1-1 draw.
