Arsenal Manager gunning for Sergio Ramos

Wenger reportedly in talks with Sergio Ramos' agent, Rene

Sergio Ramos is reportedly wanted in North London with Arsenal as the interested club.

According to reports from Spain which states AS journalistManuel Esteban Manolete claiming that Wenger has contacted the agent and brother of the defender, Rene Ramos and that they should be talking for a possible move for the 28 year-old who joined Madrid from Sevilla in 2005

"Wenger has called Rene Ramos, the agent and brother of Sergio Ramos,"Manuel Esteban told radio show, La Goleada.

Speculations about the move may be correct, considering Wenger’s last statement after the Gunners conceded a late goal against Liverpool on Sunday.

He said they lacked leadership at the back and needed someone to co-ordinate them

“They should be talking, yes," Wenger said.

"Maybe they do talk but it doesn't look like that when you look at the pictures. Of course it’s important to have someone organising.

"You want somebody to take the leadership there."
