Gunners’ supporters make u-turn, want Wenger to remain as manager

A popularity survey conducted by The Sun reveals that Arsenal fans still want Arsene Wenger incharge

After several attacks on the Frenchman by some fans of the North London club, Arsene Wenger is still preferred as manager at the Emirates

Wenger was booed following two losses to Manchester United and Stoke City, consequent to that the 65 year-old told the press that he would rather spend time winning on the pitch than testing his popularity amongst fans like a politician.

A YouGov survey conducted by The Sun revealed that 78% of Arsenal fans backed him to stay in the job. Only 15% of voters wanted him to go, with seven unsure

The survey also asked fans if they thought Arsenal would win the league under Wenger, exactly half believed it could happen.

Nearly a third - 32% - of those polled believed he will not win the title again.

Arsenal’s journey to a good ending in the season resumes this Sunday when they face Liverpool at Anfield.
