Barcelona Star Is 12th Footballer To Win Golden Foot Award

Andres Iniesta was voted winner out of 10 other footballers including to become the first Barcelona player to win the award in its 12th year.

Spaniard, beat competition from , , , , , , and  to win the Global Foot Awards; an honour totally designed for players above the age of 28

Iniesta became the first Barcelona player to win the award; thereby joining the ranks of players like Didier Drogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ryan Giggs, and Ronaldinho who’d won the award in the past

The 30 year-old Spain international attended the Gala with his beautiful wife, Anna Ortiz, where they both joined past winners who were present at the awards ceremony

A Golden foot award winner has his footprint moulded in gold, and added to the 'Champions promenade' along Monaco's seafront.

Iniesta was voted winner out of 10 other footballers through an online poll, using personality and achievements as criteria to become the 12 winner of the yearly award which incepted in 2003
