Amodu Shuaibu Corpse of former Super Eagles coach moved to hometown (PHOTOS)

Late Super Eagles coach, Amodu Shuaibu, is reportedly being prepared for burial as at press time.

According to Punch, his corpse has left the Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin in a convoy for his hometown, Okpella, Edo State, where he is expected to be buried according to Islamic rites.

Amodu, who until his death, was the technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) died in his sleep on Friday night, June 10, after complaining of chest pain, NFF confirmed on Saturday.

It was gathered the former tactician was hypertensive and had been on medication. He was aged 58.

The sad news comes three days after Stephen Keshi, another former coach of the Super Eagles, died in his sleep after suffering a heart attack. He was 54.
