The 18-year-old midfielder according to his agent, Robert Visan have been watched by Chelsea scouts sent by club manager Jose Mourinho on several occasions.

Chelsea are having a terrible season which see them in 15th place in the English Premier League and Mourinho is looking for young legs to bolster his squad in January.

His agent Visan, confirmed that Chelsea are interested in signing his client despite insisting that his loyalty lies with Bolgona in the Serie A.

"There is a strong interest of Chelsea," Visan told Tutto Mercato Web.

"I work with Pini Zahavi, who everyone knows, but that does not mean that will he will go to Chelsea.

"Also the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham and Juventus follow him [but] with them I never speak of offers, only football.

"But now, I repeat, he is indebted to Bologna."
