Akwa United and Lobi Stars on Sunday, November 22 will be clashing at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in the final of the Federation Cup.

Lobi Stars Captain, Terna Ikpeen has also assured fans that they will be coming tops in the final on Sunday.

Ikpeen is pretty confident that they will beat Akwa United because they have a better team.

Meanwhile, the governor of Akwa Ibom State Emmanuel Udom has urged Akwa United to do everything possible to bring the cup home.

Udom hosted the players in a breakfast meeting on Wednesday, November 18 at the Government house, in Uyo.

“I am coming for the game against Lobi Stars in Lagos. I want you to go and bring back the trophy. The state is waiting patiently for the trophy,” the Uyo State governor said.

“I know you have a good team that can make all of us in Akwa Ibom smile. This is the first time a club from the state will qualify for the final of the Federation Cup and I want you to make it count this time.”

The first Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Bar. Seyi Akinwunmi.

Akinwunmi has promised that the first 500 fans at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Sunday will get free T-Shirts.

He urged football fans to come out to the stadium with their family as security is guaranteed.
