Austin Okocha, Elderson Echiejile express mixed feelings towards Nigeria's qualification

As the date for the must win tie against Sudan in Khartoum draws near, Nigerians are expressing their thoughts, doubts and hopes for the match and the Eagles AFCON qualifying campaign in general

Juwon Oshaniwa, a member of the team to Sudan has assured Nigerians that they would try their best to come back with a positive result

"We know how important the game is to our ambition to get to the next Nations Cup, we will do our best to get the maximum six points from both games against Sudan. We remain focused on our target.”

CSKA Moscow striker, Ahmed Musa said:

AS Monaco and Nigeria defender, Elderson Echiejile added voice to the reactions

Echiejile said that the Astro Turf at the Khartoum stadium would not hinder the Eagles game play, though adding that it would require hard and smart work to beat the slow movement on the pitch

Already Nigeria walks a tight rope against the Sudanese as they must do beyond the ordinary to overcome a loss or draw which would only dwindle their chances of qualification to Morocco 2015

Nigeria is third in a group which has Congo, South Africa and Sudan

Congo sits at top with 6 points after victories in the game against Nigeria and Sudan, while Bafana Bafana is second with 4 points from a win over Sudan in Omdurman on September 5 and a draw against Nigeria on September 10
