Ezenwa was in goal for Nigeria as they reached the final of the 2017 WAFU Cup which they lost 4-1 to Ghana.

The FC IfeanyiUbah goalkeeper played six matches from the first round of the competition to the final conceding four goals.

The four goals were conceded in the final which the Super Eagles Team B lost 4-1 to host Ghana.

With five clean sheets, Ezenwa won the Golden Glove of the tournament.

Stephen Sarfo who scored four goals in the tournament including his brace in the final for Ghana won the Golden Boot.
