Ivorian player wins MVP, Golden Boot award

Cote D'Ivoire scored a total of 20 goals and conceded 10 in three matches at the 2014 Copa Lagos

At the end of competition at the 2014 Copa Lagos beach soccer championship on Sunday at the Eko Atlantic City, West African nation, Cote D’Divoire emerged champions with its star player, Kouassitchi Daniel also going home with the Most Valuable Player award and Golden Boot for the highest goal scorer.

The Ivorians scored a total of 20 goals, conceding just 10; they are also the highest scoring side with a 100 percent record of no loss.

Kouassitchi scored three against Nigeria and got four for the beach Elephants as they trounced Ghana 9-4.
