Wife and family bereaved as breadwinner dies5 days before Christmas

Officials of Benue state club, Lobi Stars have confirmed the death of one of its players, Sarki Audu who played as a striker.

Audu passed on in the morning of Saturday following an auto crash, with his wife and daughter involved in it.

The mother and child sustained minor fractures but Sarki could live past the scene.

Sarki Audu was known by his teammates as 'Master of important Goals' because he always rose up to the occasion when it mattered.

National Coordinator Lobi Stars Abdul-Ganiyu Adeleke described the death of the recently promoted police corporal as a big blow to the entire Lobi Stars' Family.​
