The singer had on August 1, 2016, dropped his debut album, two years after he broke through with his single ‘Alubarika’. He talked of the concept guiding the album creation, tying it into his origin and more.

The Reggae album which lasts 61 minutes with 16 tracks featuring artistes such as Olamide, Sarkodie, Phyno, Wizkid and KWAM 1.

On why the album release was delayed, Patoranking in a vulnerable moment admitted that his uncertainty about his level of penetration was the cause for the stalling. The singer admitted to having an album ready after the success of ‘Girlie Oh’ single in 2015, but held back due to personal doubts.

Patoranking also opened up on the concept of the album being guided by God, and how it talks about his life love and God being the ultimate in terms of what truly matters.

The Headies 2014 Next Rated artiste also gave insights into his choice of artistes for collaborations on the album, saying he tried to feature every artiste from different parts of the country, region and overseas that could help promote his album better.

Patoranking shot into limelight with the hit song 'Alubarika' which features Timaya of Dem Mama Records, a label he was affiliated with until he got officially signed to Foston Muzik in February 2014 under which he released 'Girlie O' and 'Girlie O' remix featuring Tiwa Savage.

The dancehall revelation won awards for the Next Rated Act, Best Collaboration for 'Emergency'featuring Runtown, Skales and Best Reggae/Dancehall single for 'Girlie O' remix featuring Tiwa Savage at the  Headies 2014.
