Product reviews have never been as important as they are now.
YouTube is now creating ads that let viewers buy the actual products in its product review videos.
This is revealed last week by YouTube CEO, Susan Wojcicki, during the IAB MIXX Conference at Advertising Week.
"There are more and more creators uploading content on YouTube that actually helps users do research about products and help them make their shopping decisions. We have 1 million channels on YouTube that are related to product review videos."
According to a Google consumer survey, one in five 18-to-24-year-olds say they go to YouTube to find out what's cool to buy.
YouTube's ads is simply highlighting how important it is for people to review products and pay attention to product reviews.
